Hamidreza Nourbakhsh

Hamidreza Nourbakhsh, a singer, was born on October 23, 1965 in Qom.His father was familiar with the vocal schools of his predecessors, and he was Taj Esfahani’s friend, the last survivor of those predecessors. Hamidreza Nourbakhsh, was instructed by Ahmad Ebadi. He completed his studies in Law and at the same time he was taught by Mohamadreza Shajarian. Nourbakhsh was one of Mohamadreza Shajarian’s top students. He has been recently nominated as a master of sound-induction by following Mohamadreza Shajarian’s approach. He released the album, “Pardeye Oshagh” with cooperation of Faramarz Payvar. As a singer, Nourbakhsh joined the concert of Ava Group whose composer was Parviz Meshkatian. His other works, such as “Aseman” with the cooperation of Shahnazi Group and under the guidance of Dariush Pirniakan,and “Penhan Cho Del” with the cooperation of Shams Group and under Keykhosro Pournazeri’s guidance have been released. Hamidreza Nourbakhsh and Kayhan Kalhor, performed a concert at the Paris Theater Hall in 2007, and other concerts in various European and American countries in 2009. Hamidreza Nourbakhsh performed another concert with Parviz Meshkatian at the Interior Ministry Hall in 1986. The poems of the album, “kooche Banafsheha” were written by Shafiea kadkani. The composer and the singer of the album are respectively Hooshang Kamkar and Hamidreza Nourbakhsh. The album was released by Avaye Honar Institute in 2015. Hamidreza Nourbakhsh was a member of the board of directors of Music House, the center of traditional singers of Music House, the Strategic Council of the Art Department of the Ministry of Culture and Arts of Islamic Guidance, and a member of the Supreme Council of Iranian Artists Forum. Now, he is the manager of the Iranian Music House and a member of the board of directors of this institution.
